History

The people of Truly Nolen, along with Truly David Nolen, have a long tenured history of community involvement and service.  We are involved with local Rotary clubs, non-profit organizations, schools, youth sports and everything in between. The company began to focus its efforts in the communities it serviced by supporting the work and passion of their employees and partners. This expanded to group volunteering, youth STEM classes, charity car shows and parades, touch-a-truck events, neighborhood block parties and cook-outs, fundraiser events, you name it!

Good Bug Bad Bug Class

Our Community Outreach team can come to your school, camp, scout troop, STEM night or professional organization. We customize our interactive education to the host group – from pre-school through high school or home-owner groups, real estate professionals and other home and business service tradespeople.

Our youth focus areas include: entomology, ecology along with safe interactions with insects, arachnids and snakes. We have art and crafts actives as well.

Signature Events

Truly Nolen is proud of our Signature Events – big events we rally behind year over year tying us to our local communities in truly special and meaningful ways.

National Insect Day Truly Nolen started National Insect Day on Truly’s birthday to celebrate our love and fascination of insects. We host our Good Bug Bad Bug classes, have live insects on display, host insect-themed crafts and do a live lady bug release.

Truly Spooktacular We recognize no child wants to be in the hospital during Halloween season and a colorful distraction may be just what the patient – and their family – needs. We partner with children hospitals, Ronald McDonald houses and similar destinations across the country bringing craft pumpkins, decorating kits and other fun activities to children getting special care at Halloween.

Community Car Show Our fleet of “antique” cars drive to the Leadership Center in Tucson each Fall to answer the popular question “how can we see all of Truly’s cars?” We pair our cars with local non-profits groups to help them raise awareness to their cause. In subsequent years, we invited other car groups showing the range of specialized cars and the passionate people behind them.

Mascot Games The annual “Mascot Games” in Orlando, Florida hosts sport mascots from across the various sports and from around country each June. This multi-day event allows the mascots to be the “athletes” for once competing in various games. Truly Nolen and “Team Yellow” has the best and most exciting seat in the house!
